Hey guys! Senior season is here, if you want senior pictures in VA, I’d love to work with you! Bessie Black Photography is a photography service in Virginia. I want to make the process of getting your senior pictures fun and easy – so read on to see how to get started!
Step 1: Get the details
I know that every senior is different and every single one is unique! I’m always available to talk about setting up a session that fits your style and needs. So, feel free to call or email me with your questions and ideas and I’ll be able to help you make the decisions that are perfect for you!
I offer 4 different session options. The Split Session allows you to take photos on two different dates. Each day you’ll have unlimited outfits/looks, props and locations! This is great for creating senior pictures that showcase two different seasons or different seasonal sports/activities.
The Senior Model Session takes place on just one evening for about 2 hours ut it still has unlimited outfits/looks, props and locations!
If you’re looking for something smaller – you might enjoy the Class Act package which is just 2 outfits at one location in an hour or less. Or the Short & Sweet session which is just 1 outfit and 1 location for 30 minutes.
Step 2: Book and plan
After you decide what session you want, it’s time to book your dates. Yes, plural. We always schedule a backup date in case we get rained out or an emergency arises. Leading up to your session I will help you finalize all the details of your senior pictures like what you’re wearing, what locations you want to use, what props to bring and anything else that you might need help with!
Step 3: Prepare & Model
As your session date arrives, you’ll want to make sure you have everything ready. So prepare your clothing and accessories; iron your clothing, bag up jewelry/shoes, etc. And don’t forget to set aside time for personal grooming – face, nails, skin, hair & makeup. Close up senior pictures are always amazing so be sure to pay attention to the details like your skin/nail prep!
Then…the moment you’ve been waiting for! We will meet up and spend the evening creating timeless images showcasing YOU!
Step 4: Post session sneak peeks & viewing
A few days after your session, previews of your session will be uploaded to social media so be sure we are connected online! After your session will be your VIEWING SESSION! This is where we meet at my studio/office to photograph your yearbook photo and then view all your images from your senior session and choose your favorites! At the Viewing Session you’ll have the option to purchase additional photos/products to complete your senior picture experience!
